*Le sigh* 
If I could sum up my review letter to you in just two words, those would be the words, because I did a lot of it while I was reading you. Kasie West has proven time and time again that she is an amazing storyteller, and On The Fence, you were no exception. You were absolutely adorable, and I just want to hug you to my chest forever and ever.
Your main character, Charlie, is one of the boys, and prides herself on the fact that she can beat them all at any and every game, but after getting a ticket from the police, Charlie's dad decides it's time for her to get a job. Of course, the one she finds is at a fru fru shop where she knows nothing. Charlie starts changing, and along with those changes, she finds that she's also falling for the boy next door, Braden. But Charlie doesn't know if Braden feels the same, or if she wants to risk their friendship by finding out.
Charlie was adorable. She's your typical tomboy, but she reminded me of myself when I was younger. I only had boys my age in my neighborhood to play with so I was the same way. Braden is a catch, too. I'll be adding him to my book boyfriend list, for sure. 
There are some underlying issues in you, On The Fence, too when it comes to Charlie's missing mother figure, and when I found out what really happened, my heart shattered for Charlie. My mom read you, as well, and I found her crying when she read that part. It hit both of us hard, because something like that happened with my mom's mom too. I won't go into details, because I don't want to spoil anything. 
I really enjoyed seeing a few brief appearances from characters from The Distance Between Us. I love that your author did that!! Another character I loved was Charlie's boss. She may seem a little cuckoo, but she means well, and she was the perfect person to help Charlie find herself. 
All in all, On The Fence, you were everything I was expecting and more. You made me giggle, cry, and swoon in equal measures. You are my new favorite from Kasie, honestly. I cannot recommend you enough, and for that reason, I give you five hearts! Bravo, Kasie!
