What's happening in Becca Land??

Gosh, I have been so bad at blogging these past few weeks. Things have been insane in my life lately, and I just haven't had the time or energy to read/write/blog/anything. I've tried to post things sporadically but it's been tough. We are currently going through a pretty severe weather season in OK, and it's hell on my nerves. We had some series flooding earlier this week and our kitchen flooded, which sucks but it's fixable and not as bad as what a lot of people nearby are dealing with thankfully. Today is supposed to be a pretty big tornado threat, but I'm hoping it won't be. It's rainy and thunder-y right now which helps keep the instability (tornado fuel) down, so fingers crossed it stays that way. 

Work this time of the year is always nuts and crazy busy so it cuts down on my reading time ten-fold, and along with painting, there's been no Becca time whatsoever. *sad face* BUT I managed to get a surprise weekend off due to the bad weather so I'm trying to get caught up on some posts, and most importantly READING ALL THE BOOKS!! 

I recently read and LOVED The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West, which is no surprise because hello, it's KW. Then, I had a bad book. The Heir. No good for me at all, but I powered through hoping it would get better for me. Unfortunately it didn't. I started Rogue last night, and hope to finish it and read 5 to 1 too. 

Anyways, I miss you all so much! I'm getting my BEA spreadsheets all prepared and trying to make a list of all the books and people that will be there too! I can't wait to meet everyone and give them HUGE hugs!!!!! 

Final point I need to address is due to my insane work schedule for the rest of the month and then going to NYC, I've put PIVOT BOOK TOTES (my Etsy shop) on VACATION until June 1st, because there's just no possible way for me to continue painting, working, and preparing, and still manage to sleep! I'm so sorry for the inconvenience but I promise I will be back in full force next month! (P.S. if you have an order that hasn't shipped yet, it will ship this week! I'm not on vacation for the orders that were placed before I put this notice up, so don't worry! You'll be getting it soon!!)
