This week, I am featuring...

The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa!!

FROM GOODREADS: To survive in a ruined world, she must embrace the darkness.

Allison Sekemoto survives in the Fringe, the outermost circle of a walled-in city. By day, she and her crew scavenge for food. By night, any one of them could be eaten. Some days, all that drives Allie is her hatred of the them- the vampires who keep humans as blood cattle. Until the night Allie herself dies and becomes one of the monsters.

Forced to flee the city, Allie must pass for human as she joins a ragged group of pilgrims seeking a legend- a place that might have a cure for the disease that killed off most of civilization and created the rabids, the bloodthirsty creatures who threaten human and vampire alike. And soon Allie will have to decide what and who is worth dying for again.

Enter Julie Kagawa's dark and twisted world as an unforgettable journey begins.

If you haven't read The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa, I only have one thing to say to you. WHYYYY?! It's such an amazing book, and the second installment is even better! I am dying to get my hands on The Forever Song after the ending of book two! It was cray cray. Anyways, they redesigned the covers of these books after the first one came out, but they aren't very Cover Puppy friendly so I went with the version of the cover that I have! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! Dixie was not a fan of the googly eyed glasses at all. She did not want to look up or anything! Some of the outtake pictures are pretty hilarious, but she's mad at me now for putting her through that! Oh well, she'll get over it! ;)
