"I used to think that when people fell in love, they just landed where they landed, and they had no choice in the matter afterward. And maybe that's true of beginnings, but it's not true of this, now. I fell in love with him. But I don't just stay with him by default as if there's no one else available to me. I stay with him because I choose to, every day that I wake up, every day that we fight or lie to each other or disappoint each other. I choose him over and over again, and he chooses me."

  1. I like Vampire Academy! Sadly I've only read the 1st 3 books in the series and just never got around to the rest =/ Soon, though ;)

And Splintered is THE BEST!! I love it!! I can't wait to read Unhinged!!

Oooh, and I think you'll really love Alienated. I got an ARC and read it not that long ago and I absolutely LOVED it!!

I didn't do this survey, but I did do 5 Top 10 posts similar to this the last week of December. I did a "Best Books I've Read in 2013" post and a "Top 10 Books I’m looking forward to in 2014" post.

    1. When I did this post, I did not realize how HARD it was going to be!! I really enjoyed the last few books of VA because it introduces the new character(s) for the Bloodlines series, and I love love love the Bloodlines series!!

Splintered was sooo good!!! My copy of Unhinged should be here Wednesday! I cant wait!!!

I have really high hopes for Alienated so I hope it lives up to them! We have really similar tastes in books, so I'm sure I will!!!

  2. I so agree about that cover for Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. I love that font. Fangirl has a big impact on me too... definitely an emotional book. And I loved Crash too (and loved Bang even more!!!). I didn't like the Wake trilogy, but this one totally surprised me! I hope you get to read 150 books this year... I WISH I could read that fast!

    My Best of 2013

    1. Oh yes! The font on that cover is just beautiful! I really enjoyed the story too! Fangirl was amazing, just simply amazing! I really didn't love McMann's Wake trilogy. It was a meh for me, but I read the whole thing a few years back. But Crash and Bang were SO good. I <3 Sawyer!! Haha, I only read 117 last year, but I am HOPING that I will able to read more since I don't have a boyfriend to occupy most of my time anymore!! YAY for more reading time!! :) Book boyfriends are better anyways, right?!

  3. I didn't do one of these but I feel like my answers would have been so similar to your! I fell in love with Kasie West's writing this year! And I'm so glad you enjoyed Crash! The family dynamic in that series is awesome. And yay for Vampire Academy too! Finished those a few days ago and loved them!

    1. AHH KASIE WEST IS SO AWESOME!! I will read anything she writes, and Crash was fantastic! I love VA, and Bloodlines is even better, I think!!!
