WHAT'S HAPPENING IN BECCA LAND?

Nothing interesting. HAHA. No, but seriously. I've been super busy painting totes ( I know I say this every time ), but it's so true. I have no life besides work. Although I have been squeezing in a ton of reading time lately, and reading a BUNCH of fabulous books. I'm not even kidding when I say that the last 3 have been solid 5 star reads! WHERE DID ALL OF THESE AMAZING BOOKS COME FROM?! Besides my all work and no play lifestyle, the only thing I can think of is that I got to go to a Stephanie Perkins signing on Thursday (which was EPIC!), and then my mom and I finally went and saw Insurgent since I wasn't able to make it to the early screening last week. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but overall, I think I might have enjoyed it more than the book. Sure, there were some parts that I scoffed at and thought were totally ridiculous, but I remember being bored while reading Insurgent. It wasn't the best movie or book, but it wasn't horrible like the disaster Vampire Academy movie!

  2. FALLS THE SHADOW! I am definitely looking forward to your review of that! It has been on my radar for a looooong time! I thought Insurgent was pretty good too - I feel like a lot of things were different compared to the book, but if I hadn't read the book, I would think it was pretty cool. I've heard what a disaster The Vampire Academy was - but I haven't read it OR seen the movies. XD I'm really eager to read A Darker Shade of Magic too! Rosie // Rosie Reads

  4. I liked the Vampire Academy movie. :D It was kinda cheesy, but I liked the main actress and I think they actually didn't do toooo badly when it comes to the story. ANYWAYS, I'm glad you read so many good books recently and the Stephanie Perkins signing sounds pretty cool! I haven't read any of the books you got, but I hope you enjoy them. :)

  5. The Orphan Queen is so amazing, and the hardcover is BEAUTIFUL! I haven't seen Insurgent yet :-( Probably because I have been worried about it disappointing me since I enjoyed the Divergent adaptation so much....I actually never saw The Vampire Academy movie because I didn't want it to mess with my love for the books! Although I will probably eventually see it.
Awesome new books, glad that you are enjoying your newest reads :)
