WHAT'S HAPPENING IN BECCA LAND?
If you missed my one post from this week then you probably don't know that I had wisdom teeth removal surgery. That SUCKED. As if it didn't suck enough, I found out Saturday morning that I have developed two dry sockets. Needless to say, I've been in bed the majority of the week trying to recover. I haven't read hardly at all, because the meds they have me on make me all loopy and sleepy. But I'm hoping I'll be feeling much better as the next week progresses, because I have a few Christmas presents to still pick up and wrap, and make a ton of yummy Christmas food.

Before my surgery, I met up with Amanda for a coffee date. I seriously love this chick. She has decided that she's going to come to BEA in the Spring with me, so I think we decided that we are going to drive to Dallas and fly out there, because flights are considerably cheaper than if we fly out from OKC. BEA just keeps getting more and more real and I cannot wait. I'm so excited that I can hardly stand it!

The one time I did venture out was Friday morning (this was when I was starting to feel better, and before the dry sockets happened) to go to our local Scholastic Warehouse sale. It was my first time going there, and holy moly! If you haven't been to one before, you should totally check to see if your area has one, because it is AWESOME! As you can see from my haul, I bought quite a bit.

BLOG POSTS YOU MAY HAVE MISSED:

  1. WOOHOO!!!!! I seriously love you more, dear! I really do hope your mouth feels better. You have no idea how bad I feel telling you it would be no big deal and then all this happens... Oh I feel terrible lol! I'm so pumped about BEA!!! I will probably wait till I get all my Christmas money in order to buy the plane ticket if that is okay with you, but yes the plan is a GO! I repeat: the plan is a GO! :)

  4. Ohhh that sounds really painful (about the wisdom teeth), sending good vibes your way! I see you had a wonderful book haul this week. Enjoy all both Jennifer E. Smith books, I liked them :) Also, I'm thinking of going to BEA next year, nice to hear that bloggers I follow may be going, too :)

  5. Ouch! Hope you feel better soon, Becca! And wow, that's lots of books! I hope you enjoy them all. The only book I've read from your haul is Statistical of Probability.... which I enjoyed a lot. I also read her other book This Is What Happy Looks Like (these titles are a mouthful lol) and I enjoyed that one better than the first. I have not read Geography but I think it will be as good as her other books.

  6. I also have Statistical of Probability... (the name of her books are a mouthful! Lol.) I really want to complete Lois Lowry's the Giver series because I read The Giver when I was in middle school and was really intrigued & confused by the story haha. Now that I'm older, I can probably understand what's going on.
