Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking The Spine where you can spotlight an upcoming release that you're eagerly anticipating!

This week I'm waiting on:

Silver Shadows (Bloodlines #5) by Richelle Mead

Releases on: July 29th, 2014     Add it on Goodreads!

Sydney Sage is an Alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of

In The Fiery Heart, Sydney risked everything to follow her gut, walking a dangerous line to keep her feelings hidden from the Alchemists. Now in the aftermath of an event that ripped their world apart, Sydney and Adrian struggle to pick up the pieces and find their way back to each other. But first, they have to survive.

For Sydney, trapped and surrounded by adversaries, life becomes a daily struggle to hold on to her identity and the memories of those she loves. Meanwhile, Adrian clings to hope in the face of those who tell him Sydney is a lost cause, but the battle proves daunting as old demons and new temptations begin to seize hold of him....

Their worst fears now a chilling reality, Sydney and Adrian face their darkest hour in this heart-pounding fifth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where all bets are off.

Why I'm waiting:

I need my Sydrian. I need it RIGHT MEOW, Richelle Mead. Not in JULY!!! That is SO long and far away. This couple is definitely one of my top three ships, and I miss them, especially after the ending of The Fiery Heart!! It wrenched my heart right out of my chest! If you haven't started the Bloodlines series, you need to! Just be warned, the ending of Book 4 will leave you reeling and dying for Book 5 like I am.

What do you think of my choice?
What's your choice for this week's WoW?

Let me know in the comments, and leave me a link for your WoW post, so I can leave some comment love on yours!!

Also, if you followed me, I would love you forever and ever! LET ME LOVE YOU!! *cough* Sorry if that was creepy, but I need MORE book loving friends!!!

  6. I think Vampire Academy & Bloodlines are two series I really need to start this year! And since the ending was that bad, I'll make sure I'll read it when I don't have to wait as long for it! My poor heart can't deal with many more cliffhangers!

  8. I haven't even started reading this series yet, (I learned my lesson of waiting in-between books after Shadow Kiss), so waiting for the final one to read them all together, though that's going to be a major book hangover, haha. Great pick! :)

    1. Oh yes, Shadow Kiss was a tough one, but I was lucky enough that I didn't start reading Vampire Academy until after all of them were out!! Yeah, that will be a bad book hangover, because I actually like the Bloodlines series more than VA! Thanks for visiting Kirsty!
